• Opportunities for Students

  We welcome students and researchers who want to be part of AMHF’s dream of mental health for all in Kenya and Africa to use our students’ center library with hundreds of books and journals on mental health and psychiatry, internet and peer and senior mentorship in research.
  

  Internships

  We welcome students pursuing studies in mental health and related disciplines who are interested in undertaking an internship or practicum with us. At AMHF you will get a first hand feel of research and working with communities.

  Information for international students

  We welcome students from around the globe seeking research exposure in a low income country in mental health and related fields. You will receive support from AMHF staff to complete your internship or practicum within the stipulated time while ensuring that you gain valuable experience. We also offer mentorship support for students writing their thesis papers and dissertations including space to work with minimal interruption, access to a well stocked library with literature on mental health and Wi-Fi internet access.
